HBO GO app has been used by millions of users, as some of the most intriguing content showcases on the platform. Such a huge influx of viewers result often causes issues with the system. HBO GO Down – Resolving Desktop Problems
Step 1 – Check your internet connection. Obviously, you need to have an active connection to watch from your desktop browser. In addition, to have good video transmission, you must have a good internet connection above 3.0 Mbps.
Step 2 – If your problem is not the internet, you may have more problems on the desktop than the HBO GO app for Android and iOS. The most common problem that usually happens to most users is the following error:
HTTP ERROR 404. THE REQUESTED RESOURCE IS NOT FOUND.
To solve this problem, try clearing Cookies under ‘Settings’ and then ‘Clear Browsing Data’. If that doesn’t work, try opening an incognito tab in Google Chrome and proceeding to log in normally to HBO GO.

If problems are happening on your Android Smartphone, do the following:
Step 1 – Check your internet connection. HBO GO needs a good connection of 3.0 Mbps or more to stream videos. Therefore, a slow network may be the cause of the malfunction. If you are using Wi-Fi, try disconnecting your devices from the network for about a minute, and then try connecting again.

Step 2 – Clear cache and restart HBO GO app – On your device, go to Settings > Applications > Application Manager, click HBO GO in the application list> Force Stop > Storage > Clear data> Clear cache. Now open HBO GO again and see if your issue has been resolved.
Step 3 – Restart your device for at least 20 seconds and try again.
Step 4 – Remove and reinstall the HBO GO app
On your device, go to Settings > Applications > Application Manager > click HBO GO in the application list > Uninstall. Then download and reinstall the app directly from the Google Play store, reopen it, and try playing a video to see if the issue is resolved.
